Your Calgary experience isn’t complete until you join 20,000+ diehard fans at the Pengrowth Saddledome to cheer on the NHL’s Calgary Flames. Since arriving from Atlanta in 1980, the club has made three trips to the Stanley Cup Finals, including one championship in 1989.

In the midst of an unexpected run to the finals in 2004, the Flames inspired Calgary’s famous “Red Mile” – the ultimate block party as tens of thousands of cheering fans filled Calgary’s vibrant 17th Avenue from one end to the other.
